The Blue Water League of the Blind also known as the BWL is located
in Port Huron, MI. 48060.
We are a non-profit organization, and a affiliated chapter with the Michigan Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired also known as
the MCBVI and American Council of the Blind also known as ACB.
We are a support group, we are here to try to help if we can. Or provide some information that will help you.
If you are facing vision loss or blindness we can help with informative ideas or suggest how to cope with everyday life with the loss of Vision or blindness.
The BWL support group meets once a month. We meet and we discuss a number of different topics that relate to visual
impairment. We also have different activities that we do through the
year. The group attends various function around the state of Michigan. We also have different activities through the year.
We welcome anyone that would like to join us and to find out what we
are all about. You do not need to be a member to join us but if you would like to join, the fee is $15 per year. This fee covers you to be a
member of the BWL, MCBVI, and ACB you will also get the MCBVI newspaper update and the ACB Braille Form. It keeps you updated on what the organization is doing to help you to face visual impairment.
